Lev H. Prichard, Jr.‘s only son, Lev H. Prichard III, graduated from Penn State University, with additional agricultural studies at Texas Christian University.

He moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in 1961, establishing himself in the travel business before forming Prichard Oil Company and going into partnership with Ralph Storm in 1975. Lev cared deeply for the welfare of his adopted hometown and quietly but generously supported a multitude of cultural, educational, human welfare and religious organizations in the area.

Active in Corpus Christi civic life, he was a generous supporter of local charities, First Baptist Church and Baylor University.

In 1995 he formed Apco Minerals LLP to manage family legacy mineral rights.

Lev served as an advisory director of the Bank of Corpus Christi and its successor IBC, Driscoll Children’s Hospital, Salvation Army and Youth City, member of the TAMU-CC President’s Council and was a Rotary Harris Fellow. He loved Baylor football and twice served on the Baylor Bear Foundation Board. He was a lifetime honorary member of the Letterman’s Association. Baylor University honored him with a degree Alumnus Honoris Causa and the Herbert H. Reynolds Award for Meritorious Service.

In 1998, Lev and his wife, Ella Wall Prichard, created the Prichard Family Foundation to promote the community, religious and educational values reflected through the generations by his family.
